There are two main types of liquid silicone materials for insulating potting. One is organic tin room temperature vulcanization with a curing ratio of 100:2, and the other is a commonly used addition type electronic potting compound with a curing ratio of 1:1. Fast curing at room temperature or at elevated temperatures can be achieved. The selection of materials should be based on the application product and the performance requirements of the silicone material, and the commonly used addition type electronic potting silicone is mainly used.

The insulating potting silicone also has the characteristics of acid and alkali aging resistance, waterproof and moisture-proof, environmental protection and non-toxicity, and ozone aging resistance. The material reaches the flame retardant 94V0 level, which reduces the high temperature heat generated by the potting product during long-term operation, and also reduces the damage to the components and overheating and fire. Compared with traditional polyurethane and epoxy resin, because it is not environmentally friendly and will release gases that are harmful to the human body during operation, the hardness after curing is excellent. Addition type potting silicone is a good solution to this problem.
